I definetly recommend it. It also has many more settings , features than newpipe . It is in the main repo . Just search pipepipe .

I think at this point, what’s needed is a wiki page comparing the various forks and options. I’m not a heavy *Tube user, and I can’t keep track.
AFAICT, there are at least five active Tube front-end apps:
Active, committed maintainers are one of the most important features of any such tool, as Google constantly works to sabotage alt front-ends and timely work-around updates are critical. But some sort of feature comparison matrix would be nice.
NewPipe x Sponsorblock is dead and Tubular is the continuation of it by the same author.
Ah. Thanks.
Interesting. I’m still using NewPipe x Sponsorblock and haven’t had any issues with it. Any idea why the change? It looks more or less identical.
That’s interesting. I started to have issues loading Youtube videos a few months ago and had to switch back to regular NewPipe. (I’m using Tubular now.)
I’m not sure why the app got rebranded to Tubular. I think it’s because the author has ambitions for their fork beyond just Sponsorblock and Return Youtube Dislike and didn’t want to just append another feature to the app name every time they add a new feature.
