Another problem if you have the car parked for a while, it quickly becomes an oven, especially if it has dark colors or even black (bad idea in the South and not for racial reasons). The usual thing is to open the doors and wait a while before entering, but there is a much faster and more efficient solution: Opening the passenger window and then repetitively opening and closing the driver’s door, this quickly pumps the accumulated warm air out of the car.

Also a good idea is a Lambskin cover for the steering wheel, this avoids acquiring burns on the hands when touched. With this the steering wheel never gets hot.

Very hot showers are more efficient against the sensation of heat than cold showers. Although cold showers refresh at the moment, when you leave you feel even hotter. A hot shower, especially after drying only superficially, leaves a feeling of freshness for quite some time.

There are no much who know this, but it’s the fastest methode. The hot air in the car are stored in the higher part and only moved very slowly out if you only open the doors, more if there is no wind. Applied Physics.

Naturally, it is always advisable to park in the shade, but if possible, not under a tree, there are also birds, searching the shade.
