Perhaps less colour separation? I mean, the purple and (blue-)green are too far apart to let the two parts of the bee complement each other.
And maybe the Bee should not have a stinging pose? That would also fit our “Be(e) friendly” motto better right? To me it is not a big deal though.

I like it because it shows that we are on the attack.
I’m OK with the colors but some refinement is in order
