    Also, this reminds me of how a lot of right wing media pundits like to talk about how, because we allow certain freedoms or support certain policies, “the US is the laughing stock of other countries” or “we’ve lost the respect of other countries,” and I’m pretty sure by “other countries” they mean like… Afghanistan.
