    Getting downvoted, I definitely remember stores burning and people fearing for their lives. Absolutely the few do not represent the views of the overall movement, but I definitely wouldn’t say it’s unfair to watch the extremists in any situation.

      There sure was a lot of reporting on burning stores and people fearing for their lives…

      The truth is that there were thousands of protests and only something like 3% of them had any violence or property damage. Most of the violence was actually caused by right wing counterprotesters and police. Including the burning of that police station.

      But it was a left leaning protest, so the news tore into it like it was the worst thing ever. Like they always do. News orgs hate the left wing. An example of such is discussed here.
