I really prefer hardcopies but would rather not buy from like fucking amazon yk? Feels hypocritical to buy theory even more so to buy it from some corpo. Are there any leftist co-ops selling books online or should i try to find a small book store near me that might sell what im looking for if im lucky?
Ideally i am looking for something cheap but i have the money to pay a little extra if it means im not giving my money to the bourgeois
For those who find this post later; biblio seems pretty solid besides being a non-worker owned business. It is what it is, we live in a society. They are certified as a “living wage business” and use a triple bottom line business structure which seems better than most at least. (Uncertain as to exactly how much these benefit their workers but it seems good)
They are partnered with the indigenous literacy foundation (you can round up, they don’t donate themselves 🙄) and HAD a non profit that built libraries in bolivia which is pretty cool.
Its certainly better than amazon so i’ll take what i can get
