We need microcenter out west. I’ll even settle for a revival of frys electronics, or fuck yeah circuit city would be nice. My options are down to B&H (good, but limited items), Amazon (ugh), best buy (…), and shudders newegg (fucking christ).

As someone who just got a 6950XT for a steal on clearance at my local MicroCenter, I feel you. I wish more stores were like that.
