The unfortunate fact is that anyone not voting for him because of the Gaza Genocide is an idiot. I suspect his strategists are aware of this and are maybe relying on it.

Trump owes quite a lot of his success to Netanyahu, after the latter gave him intelligence info on the democratic party in the 2016 election. Him winning is absolutely worse for Palestinians.

That may be, but even so, their votes count as much as everyone else’s and it’s not like he’s gaining any non-idiot votes from his insisting on the US contribution to the genocide.

It’s ethically and morally repulsive and politically moronic.

True. Which is all the more reason for Biden to stop increasing the risk of losing to Trump by alienating voters in key states.

If he keeps going like he is now and loses, the loss will be HIS fault and, other than Trump himself of course, he’ll be the one most to blame for the likely downfall of American democracy.

It won’t just be the downfall of American Democracy, which I honestly feel the rich have already done. It’ll be the downfall of America having the strongest currency and economy. American Democracy will probably continue with civil war in its streets

It’s not about voting for Biden. It’s voting against Trump that matters.

If Biden loses, everyone loses. Palestinians loses more if Trump wins.

I KNOW! I’m not saying that people shouldn’t vote for Biden. I’m saying that he’s causing people to not vote for him with his unbroken allegiance to a fascist apartheid state committing genocide with his direct help in the form of the very bombs used to massacre civilians, most of whom are children.

Based on polling, Biden loses more voters by defunding Israel than he does by maintaining the status quo

in a close election, there’s very little political rationale to change anything.

Which polls would that be? Because all of the ones that I’ve seen indicate that the opposite is true.

The voters “lost” by doing nothing are most likely not to vote or to vote third party

Tell that to the Muslims and Arabs who got him just barely over the finish line in Michigan and other states he can’t afford to lose.

there is a small percent of voters that will switch to Trump if he defunds Israel

Much smaller than the percentage that will go from voting for him to not voting if he doesn’t.

But anyone that cares about morals isn’t going to change their vote from Biden to Trump

True, but many WILL refrain from voting if there’s no anti-genocide candidate to vote for. I’m not saying that doing so is a goodidea, but that’s what some people will do if Biden doesn’t change course.

If you’re a single-issue voter on this topic, only people who want Israel funded would have a political choice

Except the choice to refuse to participate. Again, not saying that it’s a good idea, just that it’s what many people will do unless Biden does the only right thing both morally and politically.

That’s not how it works, no. I downvoted your comment because you were consistently wrong.

Then I commented on what specifically you were wrong about, which is known as “discussion”, the thing you claimed I didn’t want.

No need to have a hissy fit about a single downvote lol
