It seems to me that people can more easily imagine an apocalypse compared to imagining a world without capitalism.
If you were a 1%er, and the working class switched to a sustainable equitable way to live their lives… would that not be an apocalypse to you? Losing control over your wage slaves. Losing control over the state. Losing control over the overton window. But it’s good for the rest of us.
Capitalism isn’t even that old, it can’t coast on thousands of years of precedent that feudalism could (and still does in some parts of the world still)
What is… isn’t forever. Even if its gonna last longer then us.
First off, 9gag? Really? Are we getting that desperate?
Secondly, what kind of wonky-ass way is that to define a circle? “since you can’t do $sqrt{-1}$ we’ll just let that limit the graphing, so let’s just do that fucking twice to make a circle”
What happened to the easy to read oneliner $r^2 = (x−a)^2 + (y−b)^2$?
TIL: markdown supports embedded latex math, but my client (boost for android) doesn’t. Does your instances/clients show the formulas?
I expected Steiner math.
Don’t forget to add Kurt Angle to the mix!!!
Feel like I’ve seen this in Tbilisi before. Where was this one?
If you change that line in the middle to y=2, and restrict the domain on the other functions, you can have a circle that just contains a capital A. Just in case you want to know.
i’ve seen this meme here like 20 times
im shit at math, but shouldnt there be a sin and tan in there?
f
andg
are what give the circle, together they say “give me all points at distance 1 from (2,2)”.They could’ve put the circle equation in one function so that kinda bothers me.
U shud du movie or sumthin, u r super kewl
