    Yes, conveniently inhaling benzene when you crack open a window or as it sneaks through the subslab. Free carcinogens for all. Who cares about potable groundwater? Not those guys…

      Also, what if there’s a fire? I know it’s not nearly as common at gas stations as it’s shown in the movies, but if it happens, it will spread to the apartment instantly. Hopefully the outer facade (or worse, the frame itself) is made of concrete and not CLT (a way using wood for heavy duty structural purposes and is displacing concrete due to being more sustainable) or something.
