I used to know this guy who refused to register his car. He wasn’t quite full blown “sovereign citizen” but he was on his way there. This went on for a few months. Then his wife got a ticket for failing to register. He gave in after that.

I’d love to know the real reason why the “commander” did that.

Is “commander” even a police rank?

Yeah. I, unfortunately, have to work with the police on certain things, and commander is a real rank.

I lowkey kind of love these folks? I mean, I know they are assholes in other ways, so actually I don’t. But I do love how they make shit up and try to get cops to go along with it. For one, the actual legal system is more absurd than whatever they come up with, and for two, they annoy the shit out of cops which is always a good thing. I dunno, maybe reading a ton of posts where they are pestering cops and that’s all has skewed my views on these people.

They’re definitely hilarious to read but also pretty nasty. I mean I’m all for annoying cops though. ACAB.

Definitely skewed. They’re not just delusional, they’re arrogant, argumentative, usually racist, a drain on already overstretched public services, deliberately combative and ignorant, and just one fried neuron away from mass violence.

I do enjoy the “Wile E. Coyote-ness” of their insane ramblings, but no, they’re not like rascally kids trying to build a submarine out of lumber in the backyard.
