The study primarily focused on white-Black segregation, the groups that the Brown decision addressed, but found that white-Hispanic and white-Asian segregation both also more than doubled since the late 1980s in the large school districts.

What? You can be white and hispanic. You can be anything and hispanic.

And grammatically, “white-Black” is an abomination. Capitalize both or neither (preferably neither).

No it isn’t, and claiming it is is racist af.

EDIT: The number of racists who aren’t aware Africa exists and are downvoting me accordingly is hilarious. Please, continue to demonstrate your unfathomable ignorance.

Exactly. You can be white-hispanic, black-hispanic, mixed race-hispanic. Listing only white-hispanic is bizarre.

Not really? They are highlighting two groups who are significant in the statistical analysis. Why would you list results that aren’t statistically significant?

“Black” is an identity and community and Black people have asked for capitalization. “White” is more akin to a descriptor.

“Black” people haven’t asked for any such thing, and claiming that skin color implies any shared mental traits is the single most defining aspect of Nazi/racist ideology. Without very strong evidence to the contrary, I am not going to accept as given that dark-skinned people in the USA, France, and Nigeria are any sort of cultural monolith. The very idea is exactly as offensive as claiming all Asians have the same culture, as if Mongolia and Korea are the same place.

a simple Google search would help you so much it’s not even funny. I never said Black people have shared mental traits, but they have shared experiences due to racism… and very often shared cultural aspects.
