Michigan. We spend roughly a third of what other Midwest states spend, and we have the highest weight allowance for big rigs. We have roads that the Cities, Counties, and State fight over who is responsible while they crumble.
There’s a section of 696 in metro Detroit that was wavy for at least 10 years. I think they finally fixed it a few years ago.
