I have a boss at work. Not a Boss-boss, he’s a team leader, but he’s my boss.
Anyway he got 3 strikes for being a metal-head the other day:
Wallet chain - who the fuck still has a wallet chain? A metal head
Up close he has a hole in his lip - fucking lip piercing? Metalhead
So he asked me if I wanted to do any overtime on the weekend and I said casually “Nah, I’m going to see Tenacious D on Saturday” and got the reply “Yeah fuck that, I wouldn’t be working overtime if I was doing that!”
No one has ever heard of any band. I got to loads if concerts, and unless it is a mainstream pop artist, no one ever knows who they are.
