I’ve been waiting for new game plus to replay, but it sounds like that just may not be in the works.
But, over the last four years, CDPR has been able to turn the ship around with free updates, and DLC.
Why is it called free updates nowadays? Updates are always free, no?
You already know the answer to that question ;)
But seriously, I’d assume because so many “live-service” games paywall any new updates behind “battle passes” or whatever they’re calling their subscription model this week.
I saw the picture and hoped they had finally added some depth, or at least some interesting interactions, to romantic relationships (once they’re established).
Then I saw the headline. Oh well. It’s still a fun game.
even after they fixed the game, I could not get into it.
Shame. Shortly after it’s release Best Buy was selling it for like $10, which is such a potent indicator for the state of its reputation on release. Anyway, I couldn’t pass it up. I encountered tons of bugs, but they were all superficial and didn’t impact the gameplay or my progress.
I loved it. World building and atmosphere were grade A, and I even liked Johnny Silverhand and his relationship with V. Like I said in the post, I’ve been waiting for new game plus to replay, but I guess now I’ll just dive back in without.
Supposedly, there’s mods that really improve things. I don’t have the game, but if you own it, it might not be a lost cause thanks to community modders.
if you want a second opinion, it’s good trust me.
But they are working on Orion, right?
Yes, but the bulk of the dev team is working on The Witcher 4.
What is Orion?
Codename of the sequel.
Eagerly waiting for the prequel “Cyberpunk 2069”.
I want a proper sequel, Cyberpunk 2420.
We’re getting 2942 :P
Guess we’ll have to wait on fan mods to get v facial animations working some day if ever
If I were a dev, that wouldn’t be my priority in a first person Game either.
I repeatedly spend time deciding on clothing choices etc for my character only to proceed to never actually see them outside the menu.
