    Well that’s terrifying. Strange that they won’t say how exactly people were exposed beyond "The physician at the center of the scandal allegedly used “unacceptable infection control practices, which put patients at risk of infections,”

    Is it just that the worker had these conditions and came to work anyway? Because we’ve been treating all blood as pathogenic since 1996 (Standard Precautions). Unless this was some malicious intentional exposure on the part of the anesthesiologist I don’t see how a blood borne illness could be passed on to patients.

      It was for sure someone not sterilizing reusables or reusing something that shouldn’t be reused. The only other possibility is a deliberate act.
