Hai guys.
As I googled for some Everett True comic strips I stumbled upon this picture. And I was so puzzled bc what the hell did this guy do to deserve this. And then the idea was made: no context Thursdays, every Thursday we post at least one panel that has no context whatsoever and we can try to guess why the person in question got beat up/met Mr True’s fury.
Obviously we can always post regular comics, I just think it’s fun to have a designated day specifically for no context panels. And I dömt think this will catch om so maybe I’ll look stupid but I think the idea is fun and I will most certainly post on no context thursdays

I would not find this an improvement. Normal people are far less funny than they think they are. A whole day means this community is useless for the entire day to people who don’t want it. Plus, Lemmy doesn’t have the numbers for big user engagement events. One caption competition post a week is engageable by those who want it and ignorable by the rest of us. That would be the way to do it.
We could still post regular comics on Thursdays, as per the post.
