I liked Top Gear a lot 10+ years ago and was surprised when I discovered how many Brits absolutely fucking despised the show, lol
To me it was on par with Mythbusters as reliably entertaining TV slop but as a foreigner I didn’t realise how obnoxious Clarkson is as a real life public figure

I thought Jeremy Clarkson played Jeremy Clarkson on TV. I was sorely disappointed that Jeremy Clarkson was Jeremy Clarkson.
