I feel like assassination attempts, especially in this day and age, are an indication that a given political faction has been pushed to the brink. And I think the fact that we have two, maybe three, attempts by Republicans trying to murder their own electoral candidate is an indication of strong but seemingly silent, discontent within the party.

Now we know this exists on the Democratic side as well but they haven’t started trying to kill Harris or Biden yet for various reasons. Regardless, it’s clear that strong discontent exists within “both” parties.

I think November is gonna be a competition to see who can lose the least amount of votes to third parties and write-in candidates personally. It’s gonna be interesting to watch.

I’m not American so it’s more of an abstract case-study to me. I’m just hoping as few innocent people suffer as possible, whatever the outcome.

    I wish I had been democrat at some point so I could say that they are losing my vote but in all honesty they never had it

      Surely he killed his own career? Dude could have gone out on top but he just had to run in 2020 and publicly mentally degrade in front of the eyes of the world.
