Same. Every big multiplayer game feels like a Skinner box made of dark patterns and FOMO. I can’t look past that so I just choose not to play.
Me playing New Vegas for the 17th time…

I have! Beat Dust many years ago, and played a good bit of Frost. Now I’m more into perfectly fixing, tweaking, and expanding NV and TTW.

Eh, maybe if you do the install in Windows then transfer it to Linux, but that’s a lot of effort, sadly

Good luck
Is it worth adding a windows install for?
nah, TTW is just an extra area to acquire XP and bonuses to refine your build, it doesn’t really add much to a playthrough extra modded content for base FNV wouldn’t. unless you’re really down for those mods with NV-TTW interactivity

yeah it is just fallout 3, not lifechanging content
playing single player games
playing single player games and only doing side quests
it isnt alduins fault his questline fucking sucks
Hey, I’m gonna say it. Here it comes. Skyrim in general kinda sucks. Also, lot of the mods are weird, there’s fucking body type mods, it’s gross
Why in the absolute fuck would I ever want to play video games with strangers online? I didn’t get the appeal when Halo came out and it was hype and I detest it now cause it’s killed in person multi player. Playing video games with your friends on the same couch fucking rocks. It’s peak gaming. The worst shovelware ever becomes a good time cause you’ve got a pal you’re playing against who’s dealing with the same jank, so unlike a bad single player, it’s still fair cause it’s equally broken for everyone and it becomes a funny competition based mostly around who’s better at overcoming the game’s flaws. Gotta hand it to the wii in it’s early days cause that’s the most extreme and extremely successful version of this concept put to practice. And fuck plating online with friends who aren’t that far as well, go over and play together. Eat chips. It’s a good time.
Because le epic competitive gaming, to prove I’m better than the enemies
i freaking love solitaire
more of you comrades should play helldivers 2 though.
or showdown: the hunt? i’m installing that as i type cuz it looked fun
I don’t like talking to my computer
baby, i am not your computer
ever since getting a steamdeck I’ve been hooked on single player stuff. I never realised how rewarding they can be, and how so much of the “rewarding” nature of multiplayer games is just small dopamine nuggets in a sea of cortisol.
Not all MP games, and I still do like some of the worse offenders (warthunder lmao) but sinking some hours into a good roguelike is a great time
