XMR is used for a lot of trans stuff like DIY for example. It also means there is better security for the donator and the receiver. Its a bit more of a pain to donate but imo its very worth it, it lets our mutual aid groups help people that would be very hard to help otherwise (I go into that here). I’ve been frequently frustrated how many people I can’t help because of the country they’re born in, because they don’t have a bank account, have very controlling family, and so on. This gives us all another tool in our belt to help people, and I’m more than willing to vouch for the people running this project.

There’s a couple of people here on Hexbear that will be helping with the project. I’ve organized real life mutual aid stuff through Hexbear before and I really hope people can go through the technical annoyances and donate to this so we can help people that very desperately need it.
