OK so I’m gen x age and just recently, in the last 6 months, figured out I’m not neurotypical (I mean I knew I was not necessarily normal). It’s been an interesting process of connecting the dots of like - oh that explains why I’m like that.

Well I’m sitting here reading this post and realizing right now that pattern recognition was one of the skills I’ve always excelled at in a number of things I’ve done. It’s helped me in wildlife biology, software debugging, and many other things.
