Just kinda confused about the side because there’s like “local” where all the based homies are at and then there’s “all” where I see support for Zelensky banning communist parties and claims that NATO is a force for good.

That is what federation is all about. Two instances can federate so users on either can see all posts from the other. And that’s really cool since I’m on Lemmy.ml but can get my daily dose of basedness from you guys.
