Americans are the people of giant trucks, meat for every meal, and suburban blight; their government reflects their interests.
Maybe once your older generations die out and young people get educated and start voting things will change. But for now, no, Americans don’t get to whine about the government they literally chose. As long as there’s a practical path to change and the vast majority choose not to follow that path, it’s their own damn fault.
Only in America do you get people blaming the politicians that their parents and grandparents elected. That makes zero sense. Blame your grandparents. Blame your friends for being too lazy to vote.
