I haven’t played It Takes Two, but my sister and I really enjoyed playing through A Way Out together a few years ago. Fares and his studio really know what they are doing.
I played both of these with my sister - I high recommend you do It Takes Two as well because it is way better. You can see the dev getting better as you go through their games, I’m very excited for their next one.
My wife doesn’t really play many videogames, but we both enjoyed “It Takes Two.” Pixar-level storytelling.
Maybe I’m just crazy, but I hated all of the characters!
I hated the story, but the game play and world building was amazing.

I was so disappointed that the ending could have had a more intricate, nuanced arc instead of “maybe we could move back together,” parent trap shit
Are there multiple endings?

I remember expecting what you described but being surprised they were still going forward with separating.
It’s entirely possible I misinterpreted, though.
More passion, more energy…
It was a nice couch co-op game to play with my wife and kids.
Fares was overly confident about A Way Out, but that’s okay in retrospect because they absolutely knocked it out of the ballpark with It Takes Two.
I found it takes two to be way more fun then a way out. I wish there was more to it takes two
“unspecified consoles”
Wonder if that is switch 2…
I wonder why switch 2 hasn’t been announced yet. This might be a very uneducated take, but I feel like Nintendo might be waiting to see how the tariffs turn out before they official announce the price.
