Congrats to Lugansk People’s Republic and Donetsk People’s Republic warriors. Some comrades wonder about the low coverage of the “Ukrainian situation” in the media.

The truth is very simple and at the same time horrible. Looking closer at the events in Ukraine, we are realizing that the imperial powers (to generalize NATO, Anglo-Saxon, etc. countries) are again doing the experiment of Nazi Germany, we could say, a Neo-Nazi Ukraine or a fourth Reich, as a proxy state to contain on European soil “the Russian influence” and not only because of Russia itself, but because behind it is the new economic/technological superpower of this century: China. The same as Germany was to contain the Soviet Union and the communist movements in Europe, with disastrous results as we have seen. If one looks at the historical record the similarities with the events of Hitler’s rise are more mere coincidences: the media played the same role, the information coming out of the Third Reich, and countries in the same situation like Italy and Japan, was scarce and very little true, often being propaganda that exalted those regimes (even Hitler was given an Olympic Games as a gift). When the media showed “the real drama” was when the red army marched triumphantly to Berlin.

Good news is that Russia is not historically illiterate, and the leadership understands precisely what’s happening. The situation is also different with Europe being heavily dependent on Russia in terms of energy production. This is a good video on the subject. I think that Ukraine is largely a US project, and EU is not happy about it because they realize there’s going to be serious blow back for them. My hope is that US pushing for NATO expansion eastwards will result in NATO breaking up because EU will not be willing to eat the cost of this.
