This is an independent DIY search engine that focuses on non-commercial content, and attempts to show you sites you perhaps weren’t aware of in favor of the sort of sites you probably already knew existed.
I like this. I wonder how they identify which sites are suitable for inclusion? Could we use this to do an end run around corporate enshittification and start up a people-based web again?

It’s so simple there is no link from the About page back to the home page. Too bad for people who find the About page first.
The two buttons link to a search page, which appears to be the home page.
The heading at the top of the about page (“Why Wiby?”) links to the home page. So do the buttons, as someone else pointed out.
It’s not clear that the headline and graphics are intended to be used for navigation.
I was a web developer for Web 1.0 and it was possible to have clear navigation then.
Add the word “home” or the the name of the site with an underline, as that was the fashion of the day to indicate a hyperlink.
