Tbh it’s pretty intimidating posting in here since Ill never reach the peak levels of shitposting I’ve seen. Typically I’m a lurker and feel I dont have much to contribute either, but you’re all so friendly
if you feel intimidated posting in the normal threads, feel free to post in the daily general megathread! it’s usually much chiller than the rest of the site (and the news megathread) so you can post about what you eat, your cat, some sincereposting about something that happened during your day, some shit about a video game you’re playing or media you’re watching, or even just intoxicated one-offs and silly shit, or a really bad pun. go nuts!
edit: shit, some users literally just post the word “cum”, and there’s @wombat@hexbear.net who just posts “it’s today’s date and stalin saved the world from fascism”, there is a wide range of shit to say and all of it is valuable and desired

That is the magic here, you don’t have to contribute in terms of utility. There is no minimum utility you have to bring, neither.
We even are somewhat chill with episodes that break site rules, as long as you chill with the 1 day ban and make your peace. I know at some point having people tell me that was also good for me.
