Sadly too many people reject factual information based on “the source”. This happens regardless of your political leanings. Facts are facts and the source is irrelevant if it is true. Easy enough to check it out on your own to confirm if something is factual or not. Consider how the information sources that you “trust” most likely depend on advertising dollars from Health Insurance companies and Big Pharma. Do you actually believe that they are going to tell you what is being exposed in this video? The people who are lying to you are depending on you never understanding what is going on because you reject “the source”

The source is important, though. I’d you know someone is a habitual liar and conman, you can’t trust anything they say. They could be telling the truth this once, but odds are that if they’re a bigoted fuck the rest of the time, they’re not going to be a reliable source this time, either.

You are doing exactly what Big Pharma and Health Care companies want.

This video comes from a source the vast majority of people on this site do not (and will never) trust, so you should expect a negative response to it.

Therefore, if the point the untrustworthy source is making is valid, you will be able to find a better source that doesn’t fund a con man and will not contain potentially flawed arguments.

If you cannot find a better source, there’s something wrong with the point being made.

By not doing this, you’re doing exactly what the con man wants.

Excellent point. I will stay ignorant of how Health Insurance companies rig the sytem with rebates to get rich and influence which modalities are prescribed because I don’t like the source teling me the facts.

If you actually care about it, you use better sources. If you’re actually just trying to promote a con man, you don’t.

No one here is ever going to click on Tucker Carlson.

Disappointing that you would come to that conclusion. I couldn’t care less about right or left politics. The post was all about the facts concerning how the health care system is rigged against us. People rightfully scream about health care costs while the overall health of Americans decreases. And why anyone would care which venue brings you the truth is surprising. Consider this, sorry if I am repeating myself, but people that have streaming shows like Carlson have zero dependence on advertising dollars from the Insurance companies or Big Pharma. And there are other streaming shows that you might consdier on the left that are in the same position as Carlson. The people without a financial interest are the best sources on the issue at hand.

Gonna try and put it as plainly as I can:

He is a con man. Famous for dressing up a nugget of truth in a wardrobe of lies. You cannot take a single word he says at face value.

Therefore, you don’t post links to him if you want anyone to listen—it’s unlikely anyone will even click.

If the point he is making has any merit whatsoever, you will find another, more trustworthy source. Especially because you cannot take a word he says at face value, you will have fact checked his points, right? So you should already have some reliable sources handy.

Not doing this only helps the con man and discredits your point, because if you cared about the point being made you would simply use a source people generally trust, and entirely avoid this whole chain of discussion.

And I’m sorry, but if you don’t think Tucker Carlson is bought and paid for by every possible corporate interest, I’ve got some magic beans to sell you.

I don’t usually take the time to watch long videos, but this one is defintely worth the watch.
