      There’s a setting for it, but the fact that you have to choose it is a clear case of deliberately inflating viewcounts.

        Youtube enhancer can hide shorts or convert them to video layout instead

        I use the latter because i watch food shorts but with the comfort of actual youtube ui

        Wait there’s a setting to turn it off? I’m off to find that setting cause comments on the autoplayers on shorts is so old

        I wasn’t able to find one, disappointing.

          Setting is probably a bad word choice. You can unselect looping by right clicking the video on a desktop, but I believe it only works for that video.
