      Not really. Just needs to be barley, hops and yeast.

      EDIT: Misread “booze” as “beer”. I would agree that booze seems to imply intoxication. Non-alcoholic spirits do exist though and are pretty awesome if one enjoys the sensory experience of cocktails but wants to avoid intoxication for whatever reason.

        I would say calling it booze is the problem, not calling it beer.

        “Booze,” at least to me, implies you’ll get drunk if you drink it. Plenty of people can have a beer and not even get tipsy.

        Just looking up the definition of the word, ‘intoxicating’ and ‘alcoholic’ is what dictionaries use to describe it.
