He actually has a point… feeding him insults is what the kind of people want. Just tear down their opinions with solid, painfully truthful logic… it’s the only way to fight the cult, I know how they operate.
Logic doesn’t work either, because then they switch back to insults and/or use intentionally broken logic to justify their own hate. You cannot reason with someone who has built their entire personality on illogical fallacies and hate.
The best reaction is no reaction at all. No votes, no comments, just rapid, silent bans that let the troglodytes scream their hate into the void, completely and utterly irrelevant to the rest of society as they fade into obscurity. That’s what really hurts them. Isolation and loneliness and completely forgotten, just like the basement they post from.
I agree for the majority of cases, but a few have shown that they can argue logically, albeit with faulty premises. Will showing their fallacies convince them to change their mind? No. But it might help prevent others from being sucked into it. We must show they’re wrong with logic, or others might wonder why we censor them, and start giving them a chance without seeing the fallacies it’s built on.
