Damn I thought reddit would stay save from the new usa censorship. Next step will ban liberal or anti trump posts and communities for sure. Seems like I moved to Lemmy at just the right time.
Well, maybe I was just in the wrong reddit spaces to notice. I didn’t see any occasion (or article) that mentioned censorship like it’s happening on Twitter. Even things that are commonly censored in social media like posts about death and suicide were not censored.
I’d love to know more if this was happening outside my bubble.

I don’t mean to be belligerent, but what made you think that?

Probably because culturally reddit has historically been aligned with the US narrative. The haven’t needed heavy handed censorship.
