Miyako Ishiuchi (石内 都, Ishiuchi Miyako, born March 27, 1947), is a Japanese photographer.
In March 2014, she became the third Japanese photographer, following Hiroshi Hamaya and Hiroshi Sugimoto, to receive the Hasselblad Foundation International Award in Photography.

I personally don’t find her work that interesting. Some shots are good, some not so much. I have seen one I thought was fantastic. Obvious there’s enough people out there that disagree with me so grain of salt and all. Do a search for her on your engine of choice (the wiki link is useless for that).
Agreed, actually. I searched for quite a while before I found this image. I like this one for the combination of light & airy colors, but sad context. IMO it’s beautiful in a thought provoking way.
