I guess this is more of a general Pixelfed question, but what happens when a user hits their storage limit? Pixelfed.ca has a 1 GB per user limit. Will the user be unable to upload new content or will content be automatically deleted?

I feel like a good option to have is once you hit your storage limit you are required to start donating monthly to fedecan to increase it.
That’s an interesting idea. I wonder if Pixelfed (the software) has support for that.
Off topic, but the Pixelfed link in your Lemmy profile doesn’t work. It should be https://pixelfed.ca/sunshine.
I don’t know if Pixelfed has support for it right now, but they might be open to adding it
As for what happens, I imagine it stops letting you upload new posts
I dont think it does, however you could message the admin to discuss options. An issue to include the feature could be made on the repo.
Thank you for pointing that out, I have updated my profile accordingly.
