Vivek Ramaswamy, a candidate for the presidential nomination from the Republican Party of the USA, who is in the top three in terms of popularity among Republican supporters, promises to recognize the Russian occupation of Ukraine and block its path to NATO if elected president.
All three of the top GOP candidates are anti-Ukraine and pro-Russia. Speaking as someone who fucking hates the GOP, it wasn’t always like this. But Russian money corrupts.
I think it’s wrong to claim that money is the reason. We simply need to accept the fact that they love the idea of an autoritarian state with all power in the hands of some incredible rich people. And that Russia was never an enemy, communism was…
There’s that too, but as late as 2015 the GOP was still largely anti-Russia.
Some of them claimed that they were, but they do a lot of lying, and the money stream certainly goes back a lot further than that.

Their money isn’t worth shit since the invasion. Having no particular knowledge on the subject, i can’t imagine they’d be doing much bribery the last few years. These people are otherwise compromised, or what i think more likely, Russia just helped start the culture war fire, and we’re fanning the flames ourselves.
I doubt this charlatan gives a damn about Russia or Ukraine, he’s just being a contrarian because that gets you a sizable base of voters now.
Man, they aren’t paying in rubles, that’d be dumb as shit, even for Russia. Some of the richest people in the world are, and remain, Russian oligarchs with close ties to Putin - and most of their money ain’t in rubles.
Well he’s certainly toxic enough, but I don’t think Vivek understands what R voters really look for in their candidates, soo… it will be a schadenfreudefest when the leopards finally eat his face.
He has the callousness, the selfishness, the short-sightedness, and the cruelty down, he just lacks a certain look (and Christianity).

You can trust a Republican person of color about as far as any of them would.
As a registered Republican any candidate who doesn’t support Ukraine will not get my vote in the primary. And if the party nominee doesn’t support Ukraine I will vote outside the party in the general election.
I hope more Republican voters hold your stance.
