I am failing to find it, but there is evidence that wealthy spend more on drugs and alcohol than the homeless.
I suspect that the wealthy spend more on EVERYTHING than the homeless.

Nah, I care about how money is spent by the government. But the guy outside 7-11 can have a couple bucks. He needs it for whatever he needs it for.

This is a dumb meme. We can’t chose to NOT fund the military. The two can’t be compared.
That’s what you’re supposed to be voting for.

Oh really, people who claim to live in a democracy can’t choose how the government spends their taxes. That’s a bold statement.
Go ahead and try and vote against government spending in the US.
And the fact that you have so little control over government spending should concern you a lot more than what a homeless person spends their money on. That’s precisely the point the of this post. Either people in the west live in democracies where the government passes policies in the interest of the majority or we have to accept that they live under oppressive regimes over which we have no control over.
If it is the latter then maybe people should start thinking about what is to be done instead of just shrugging and dismissing this as just a fact of life.

Many generations before yours have tried, and it’s worse now than it ever has been. Wishful thinking doesn’t make changes any more than chastising those who tried and failed before you.
I have control over wether or not I give a homeless person money to by booze. I don’t have control over the government using my taxes to buy more weapons.
This is the fundamental reason why I and many others have told you how this meme is fucking stupid. You refuse to accept it.
So many losers have confidently chanted that nothing better is possible throughout history, and yet human progress continues despite you lot. People like you just hold society back because you can’t even imagine fighting for anything better. It’s servile and pathetic.

What IS being said is that your taxes WILL pay for the military. And you have NO choice in this.
No politician believably platforms on lowering military spending. It would be career suicide. They are all for it- every single one of them. But you go ahead and keep believing your vote will change militarily spending. And hold on to that shit as long as you can, because once you stick so much as a toe into the pool of reality, things go downhill very rapidly from there.
