It’s too early to dismiss the Bills, but Josh needs to stop playing like an idiot. That loss is entirely on his decision making.

Don’t sleep on the Jets, either. Their defense is top notch, and can keep them in games. Their run game looks impressive too, but the Bills defense often makes other team’s run games look good.

And I would never entirely dismiss any team coached by Belichick.

This division is stacked, and whoever comes out of it on top will be tough to beat.

Entirely too early. We don’t know how much of this is actual trends, and how much of this is just week 1 wonkiness. Lot of teams didn’t play their 1st string offenses more than a few token snaps in the preseason.

My team didn’t play ANY of its starters at all in the preseason and it showed on Sunday. Especially the offense was way too rusty.

Anyway, agree with your comment, week 1 is too early to write off anyone. “Any given Sunday” applies here. Nobody would dream of writing off the Bengals for the season right now even after getting blown out this week, for example. The Bills are still good, they will win games and they will compete for the division.

It’s called overreaction Monday, not Tuesday.

Your question is both too early and too late. But I think you should ask again in six days, tbh.

As a dolphins fan of nigh on 40 years I have total faith in our ability to somehow screw it up.

Love everyone focusing on the pedantry of whether it’s too early to tell. We Reddit now boys.

But from a non AFC fan it doesn’t look great for the rest of the division.

Jets - they were a QB away last season and they’re tragically just as far. Maybe AR can be the QB coach Wilson needs, but it obviously not the position they want to be in.

Pats - Played well. They don’t look like world beaters, but the D is solid and they replaced Patricia. Historically it feels like they don’t hit there groove till several games in, so they could be a thorn in Miami’s side

Bills - I would be in terror if I were a bills fan. The Josh Allen regression train seems like it hasn’t lost any steam since last season. Idk if it was Daboll or what but yikes. Such a talented roster too.

Dolphins - They can drop some fucking points, lord. Buuut they also gave up 34. We’ll see what their schedule difficulty actually ends up being but they could def run away with it.

Thanks for replying in good faith. I asked the question to get takes such as yours from the community. I guess the tittle was too clickbaity for some folks liking. I agree with all your points, but I hope we are wrong with Allen’s regression. The more good QBs the league has, the more entertaining.

Same. A) it was just fun watching him throw bombs and run around. B) more importantly I hate how the AFC seems to have just one really really good team most years. It’s nice to have a some competition.

Can’t write anybody off at this point. Even Pats didn’t look bad in a loss.
