Mastodon is a decentralized social media network that has rapidly grown in popularity over the past few weeks. Now there’s a new major update rolling out to Mastodon servers.

I love the ability to follow hashtags and get the results in the home stream. Friendica has that option for many years but for me it’s a very welcome feature.

    The web interface also looks slightly different, matching the project’s current purple logo and color scheme, and changing the “Toot” button to “Publish.”
