This is the first time where I actually agree with the authoritarian

Not sure how to prevent this specific kind of infighting though when one side is intentionally organizing to brigade and push through their largely unrelated and in this case even counter-productive agenda.
Where there is even proof that /r/genzedong is brigading them? I tried searching for some post talking about it on /r/antiwork and there’s nothing, not even a mention of anything with the sub’s name or the word brigade in it. AFAIK it’s just the mods don’t wanting communists there, so probably the infighting was them not wanting to participate.
Crying about brigading is a removed move anyway. If your community can’t deal with obvious trolling then oh well.
Is GenZedong a CCP propaganda sub? I kind of get it, if so…
Edit: Also, aren’t you circumventing that ban right now? Does Lemmy allow that?
I’m still not clear what specifically the account is being banned for from this community or who decided on this. Attacks against other leftist and smears such as you’re doing here are an actual reason for a ban.
Am I incorrect about it being CCP propaganda? I’m not very familiar with the community, but the content on there when I looked was pretty dang explicit…
If you Google it, there’s also articles about how this community denies the inhumane treatment of Uyghurs, and furthermore encites violence against them.
I don’t know what you were posting over there, you could certainly be undeserving of this ban… I’m just saying that the community in question seems fucked up and backwards.
You’re literally spreading debunked conspiracy theories about Uyghur genocide here while talking about some see see pee propaganda. Seeing how this community was started before western propagandists like you showed up and you’re talking to a mod, I don’t think you get to decide who gets banned here. The only thing that’s fucked up and backwards here are your comments.
While unfortunate, I sadly have to concur with the mods there. The kind of brigading that has happened from people with no idea what /r/antiwork is about has to stop as it is likely to damage the momentum that this currently has.
So the mature answer the mod gives to a person that has been participating in good faith in the community is to fuck off and become an anarchist if you want to stay there?
That’s pretty much what r/anarchism said to me after they bannede but before the mods muted me from messaging them.
From a moderator point of view “good faith” isn’t sufficient when dealing with brigading. Judging for your expressed opinions here on Lemmy I would say it was the right call even if you only indirectly participated in the brigading.
Oh and yes becoming an Anarchist is always a smart choice ;)
