20+ years ago I was an Evangelical Christian. That group is rabidly pro-Israel now but at least before 9/11… well I would say they were exactly anti-Israel but the support was much, much more subdued.
It’s genuinely creepy to me how Evangelicals deliberately want to make their apocalypse happen on a predictable and imminent timetable as a matter of policy.
