Dumb question: why would a nuclear superpower have its entire nuclear arsenal-shaped egg collection in one very-close-to-a-bordering-nation-shaped basket? Obviously Mexico’s not likely to take it out, but that seems like the kind of thing you’d want to diversify a little.
Unfortunately the only American facility for building and maintaining nuclear weapons, Pantex, is in Texas.
Give it the same safety inspectors that fertilizer factory had and wait for the problem to resolve itself.
