That’s similar to me. Large crowds of people can make me feel that way too. It’s just a general feeling of being overwhelmed and needing to remove myself from the situation. And if I can’t, I start to either shut down or become agitated. It feels like being a caged animal and wanting to escape to me.
I’ve mostly been able to manage those feelings to the extent that I think most people wouldn’t even know I was experiencing them. But there’s a certain amount of energy that goes into actively managing my mood in those cases, which just makes me feel drained in the end.
