We have received a phishing mail to our info@lemmy.world mail address telling that they are “lemmy.world Security Team”, telling that they will “disconnect” your account from our instance. This is ofc, not us. Do not fall for it! The attached image is how the mail looks like.

I was just talking with the guys I work with the other day (high level IT, and software development), and most of us had fallen for one of our company’s simulated attacks at one point. One of our guys even specializes in security, and has made his own phishing emails for penetration testing, and he still fell for one.
My failure taught me not to read my email before I have my coffee lol
