That’s an app bug.
I’ve experienced it on Voyager and Memmy not a big deal but slightly disconcerting.
Something like this happens on liftoff, but only when the post crops the image
Try Sync for Reddit, it’s been nothing but great to me!
Sync for reddit won’t help much on the lemmy 😂
But same, I use sync and while I’m still new and learning all the features, the only issue I’ve had is that I can’t work out how yo view large images in HD. But I’m sure I’m just missing the button, because I know you could do it with sync for reddit.
Thank you!

I recently migrated from Sync to Boost. Sync had too many bugs for me, especially not letting me see replies
Huh, Sync is bugless for me, and it is nice that I don’t need to worry about losing content, because this app saves the current state always, the only way to lose track of it is to manually close the app.
Never happened on Boost for me. Try it, it’s phenomenal. :D
Happens all the time for me on boost
Does the back button stop working, or are you using iPhone? I’m on boost and I’ve never had this issue.
Connect here, don’t know what you’re going on about.
You think this is bad? Found a post once with a bunch of images embedded in the caption. Shattered my framerate.
Lol
Used to happen on jerboa but I haven’t noticed it in a long while
That’s cause you can still scroll if the post takes your entire screen (at least i can) and if you click on the post you can just exit with the arrow at the top left corner
Never had this on Thunder or Connect.
can’t you configure your app how it handles those long images to prevent inline scrolling?
Haven’t seen this one on Mlem
I don’t understand the question and I won’t respond to it.
Yeah, Liftoff does this
Huh, I guess having a big phone helps? No idea what this is taking about and I use Liftoff.
I use compact view in liftoff, so I think that’s why I’ve never seen this problem.
I get this when I use the manual refresh on Connect
If I go up and down a bit it eventually charges. Try it
The only issue I have with memmy is that “&” becomes “&;amp” for some reason
Can’t say I’ve ever seen this on Avalon
