Peace is a white mans word.

This is so toxic, and high-key super racist against every single person who isn’t a white man.

You know the black civil rights movement reached some measure of success because it wasn’t only violent. Yes, there was violent protest, maybe the violence was even necessary. But after that, they sat down and did the hard work of peace negotiation.

The violence on its own is never enough. Human history is full of violence, how often does that violence lead to an advancement in civil rights? Maybe like 0.0001% of the time? What makes you think that’s your violence? What makes you think you aren’t part of the 99.9999% of the senseless violence of human history?

The real work of civil rights is the part that you don’t give a shit about. You just want blood and you want to feel righteous about it. Spoilers, the Nazis started out as the oppressed, and felt very damn righteous seizing power and starting their genocide. The Jews started out as the oppressed, feel pretty damn righteous about their atrocities in Palestine.

You’re just another person in a long line of violence who wants to spill the blood of your human brothers and sisters and feel good about it.
