I created my account on this instance, but when I go to posts on other instances where downvoting should be enabled the downvote button still is missing. Is there a way to change this or do I have to create a new account on another instance?

Not on-topic, but I can’t see any comments on some posts, like on this one, though I can see there are 8 comments as I type this. :/
Go to settings for your account while on PC, then under languages, click the first one(should be undefined), scroll to the bottom, and shift click the last to select all. Then save
