Do you have a before pic? I’m more of a veggie gardener so succulents are a new domain for me.

I just searched through my images and I’m surprised I don’t have a pic from when I first got it. It was very sickly and half the strands had rotted off. I’ll have to post some progress photos of other plants this week to get more content going!

Glad you’re here! I did the same thing except there wasn’t a community yet, so I started one! Out of all the communities I’ve started, this one has the most engagement. So I’m excited to see where it goes! For images, I usually just nab a direct link from imgur, but people are using all kinds of image sites. The only thing I have trouble with is posting image galleries. You might have to post several images as a comment to get that to work. Hopefully that’s on the list of things to improve!

Thank you so much for starting this! Your picture made me to go my local garden center and pick one of these babies up! Love the look of it. Do you cut off some of the longer strings and replant into the pot to fill it out more? Or did that just naturally develop over time?

The strands will continue to grow longer and they will also split into more strands. So as it grows it will become thicker. If you have a very small plant that you want to add more strands to, or you want to start a new plant, then you can definitely cut strands off, remove some of the peas, and then plant the stem in dirt. I actually just did that to mine about 2 months ago and let the strands sit in dirt for another month before repotting and giving them as mothers day gifts!
