It’s kind of funny reading this. Media control over the masses, especially by these alarmist conservative media outlets like fox, has been believed to be one sidedly MEDIA controlling the writhing, drooling masses. Now this has backfired on them spectacularly, where even though Murdoch wants a certain political movement pushed the Republican voters find themselves in the awkward position where they’re controlling what the media will put out. It’s deeply funny to me.
To think of it…Fox is still in the process of taking major losses in court over their lies in the last election, but they have done whatever weird math they do and are signing up for another go.
Just gaming out why they would do that and all of the answers I come up with are a little bit scary.
