I also like to joke and laugh at the meme of Valve can’t do the number 3. But, honestly, I’d rather they worked on something new, creative and innovative. Counter Strike 2 is alright, but it’s the exact same game and formula from 20 years ago. It makes for more fun and compelling games when you can tell the devs are having fun coming up with something they are exited about making.

Not at all, they have a story to finish, imagine watching Lord of the Rings the Two Towers and stopping there.

There was Back 4 Blood. But it didn’t feel the same. Probably played it for less than eight hours at this point.

I liked it tbh. Cool weapons and some QoL improvements. The levels could be better though.

        What did you dislike?

I didn’t even realize that was the same IP- it doesn’t have the same feel at all. L4D2 was just so good.

Because no publisher will fund a game like L4D2 ever again, everything needs to be about matchmaking, can’t have a server browser, can’t let players open their own servers since we have to sell a battlepass you know?

Because it’s not. It was just made by people who used to work at Valve.
